I recently had a lovely week away at a charming, old building called Toll House Villa. The attention to detail in the furnishings and kitchen equipment was exceptional. The highlight for me was the summerhouse at the bottom of the garden, where I could relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the breathtaking views of the River Cree. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby coastline and nature reserves. Despite a minor inconvenience of having to park on the quiet road outside, I found this place to be a perfect chilled getaway. I highly recommend Toll House Villa for a delightful and relaxing stay.

We stayed at the Toll House Villa in Newton Stewart for 4 nights and it was a perfect location. the collection of keys at the Creebridge Hotel was a great introduction. the villa itself was a lovely surprise with a bath in the bedroom and a garden leading to the river. the property was surprisingly spacious and had everything we could think of, neatly stored in drawers. the evenings were cozy with a wood burner and the kitchen was well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the sun in the back yard that overlooked the river. it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely return in the future. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with a collection of keys being a great introduction to a nearby hotel with amazing chefs and food. The room itself is quaint, quirky, comfy and cosy, with beautiful decoration throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is a lovely surprise with a bath in the bedroom. The hotel also offers a summerhouse with perfect views of the river.
The dressing table is inconveniently placed near the stairs, making it difficult to sit and dry your hair.

We had a fabulous week away at this charming old building. the location was ideal for exploring the nearby forest and coastline. the furnishings and kitchen equipment were topnotch, and we loved relaxing in the summer house overlooking the River Cree. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy, like watching red squirrels and feeding red deer. We were truly impressed by the quality and variety of experiences available.
The off-road parking proved cumbersome due to a gate and busy road, but on-road parking outside the property was convenient.

The location of this hotel was great, with easy access to various amenities nearby. We also appreciated the fact that there were supermarkets within walking distance, which made it convenient for us to pick up any supplies we needed. we really enjoyed the peaceful riverside garden, where we could relax and watch the birds in the evening.
One major drawback of this hotel was the lack of natural light in the rooms. All the windows had white plastic shutters that couldn't be opened fully, and the frosted windows made it feel quite claustrophobic.
